Health Law at Hofstra:
Being Prepared for the COVID World

Wednesday, August 26 | noon-1 p.m. | Held via Zoom

This webinar offers a sample of the work in which our health law faculty is now engaged. Professor Janet Dolgin will focus on the conflict between public health measures such as mandated quarantine, isolation, or vaccination and the individual’s right to liberty. Professor Adam Kahn will discuss issues and challenges with hospital discharges and ongoing care in the COVID world, including insurance for undocumented individuals, nursing home subsidy agreements, and patients without capacity to make decisions. And Professor Ronald Colombo will provide an overview of Hofstra Law’s online health law programs for LLM and MA students.

Registrants will be emailed a link to the Zoom session the morning of the event.
