Immigration Enforcement Unleashed: Strategies for Litigating Gang Allegations and Gang-based Persecution in the Age of Trump

This half-day CLE will explore the sources and admissibility of gang allegations in immigration cases, and present strategies for addressing these allegations, including both due process issues and discretionary relief. The CLE will also address ethical issues around representation where there are gang-affiliation allegations, and how to fit gang-based persecution into a successful asylum claim. Presenters include lawyers who have been at the forefront of litigating issues around gang allegations and gang-based persecution.
